BONES

There’s this saying my sisters:Debra, Renee and I, loved to use, before we’d confide in one another. Be it, juicy gossip or something we’d witnessed. Whatever it was, we wanted to make sure that each sister knew, it was serious. Both, Debra and Renee, I viewed as my mother. For me, they were more than my big sisters, I loved them dearly, still do and always will. Two of my sisters, Debra and Renee, taught me to be mindful, when being, “The dog carrying a bone.”

I considered, Debra and Renee, my gifts from the Divine, to help me, figure out life. I came to them about everything… And in exchange, they’d gladly impart, their life-learned wisdom. I knew, I’d gained favor from God. I’m comforted, knowing my sisters have each other, in another realm. But I still miss them, terribly. I’ll say this much early on, “Be careful carrying bones, you can end up, being haunted.” As you read, you will learn what I mean by, Bones.

We’d say something Mama, taught all of us. She’d say, “I’m going to tell you something and if I hear it again, I’ll know that it was you, that told it.” Then, we’d share a secret. Let me add this, sometimes, I don’t care for technology because it can be used maliciously, in the hands, of malicious people. The way technology is now a days, that saying is no longer true. Today, anyone can use spyware and hear what you’ve shared. Maliciously pretending, one has broken confidence. Back then, with my sisters and I, our secrets, for the most part, were safe.

Once, a friend and I, were at a Nail Salon and thought to prank another friend, with a bs story. You know something juicy, we’d made up because we knew… how she hated being left out the loop. Little did we know, that this friend, was not a true friend. How’d we find out? Well, as soon, as I gave her the bone, she immediately betrayed my confidence. How? She shared the made-up story, with those, that the story would offend, on purpose. To say, that I was shocked, would be an understatement. This friend, was the dog carrying a bone. I was shocked. By the time, I hung up and laughed at the silly story, she was already spreading it. No fact checking at all…just spreading gossip. The entire story wasn’t false, the names of those involved were changed around. BUT...the worst part was, she had malicious intent because not only did she share the made up story..She’d also contacted a person, to share the story with, to purposely cause conflict. The thing is guys, I never got a chance to tell her, we had just sat there and literally switched up certain characters, just to bother her and to rattle her cage. Now, how’s that for being foul? Talk about, a dog carrying a bone. Smh. I was hurt.

My thoughts were, “So you literally ran and told something, you had no idea was a lie? If you were my friend, why would you tell it anyway?” All I can say is, “God works in mysterious ways.” This person revealed, this was someone I could not trust. Their intentions for me were negative. I’ve talked about the envy that comes along with being a hood celebrity. Even friends, are not true friends because nothing is sincere. It was crazy. Needless to say, this person was someone, I had no business trusting. Although, her maliciousness, immediately backfired on to her. It spoke volumes on who this person truly was. I shared that to say, “Be careful in carrying bones.” A lot of people are for the streets but pretending as if, they’re not. When the opportunity presents itself, they will betray you. This friend, betrayed me, so quickly, I never got the chance to tell her, the story wasn’t real. We were literally just playing but they’d jumped into action, so quick it was mind blowing. I had love for this person but accepted, they had no love for me. I walked away hurt. As I healed, later on, I was still grateful for the times, I had with that person in my life. In them, being the dog, carrying a bone, it revealed, who this person was or was not to me. We literally sat there and made it up. They ran to tell it to others, to cause conflict and chaos. …As a dog carrying a bone it caused a mess, in their own life. Smh. This was no friend. I needed to look at all Spirit was revealing to me. You never know how, the Divine, will REVEAL what people have buried, deep in their heart for you. It will be up to you, to accept it or not. The Divine will show you either way, the rest will be on you. Truth isn’t easy to accept…Many fold. Slang. Read article, “Moses” link here, Moses

Be mindful. One could be, “Giving us a bone to carry.” It can blow up in our faces, revealing more about our true selves, than, who we were gossiping about. Especially, if one had all intentions of using that information, to cause harm for another. Use discernment, guys.
