Labyrinth

If one were to ask me to choose one word to describe life…I’d choose this one word, labyrinth, intricate passageways and blind alleys….wouldn’t you agree? God knows, life surely has certainly been intricate passageways and blind alleys, a maze and perplexity…But I found my way, with nothing but Source guiding me. I’m forever grateful for the labyrinths of life…it added so much flavor to my life. That’s slang.

Whenever life becomes complex, I often think of the childhood movie: Labyrinth, from the 80’s with David Bowie..I think of the maze and confusion and all those darn distractions to keep Sarah from getting Toby from the Goblin King in time. What a quest? Isn’t that just like, life? A true labyrinth.

There’s a darker twist in this tale too, just like in life…the shadow, that exist in all of us…and, that shouldn’t be ignored or overlooked either. And, just as in life, All of us, will come face to face, with our own shadow. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to acknowledge it…and, you’ll free it from the basement of Self. No parts of you, are to be tucked away…because life teaches us, healing all parts of us is what makes us whole…that’s what makes you, wholly. The true unapologetic you.

And, just as in the movie, the metaphor is real. That’s slang. Basically, I’m saying, the goal is one thing but the distractions just kept on coming at Sarah. The seduction of life is always right there to take one off course and devour his or her innocence. Which is by the way, The true goal of the Goblin King. Yet, that’s what makes it soooo good. It’s like life, it’s not always predictable…and, that’s not always a bad thing. One must use discernment in the labyrinth.

The beauty is in the journey because it’s what counts most, not the destination. The journey of life, leaves the biggest impression on our souls, so try not to stress so much over the destination. You’ll get where you’re going, slow down long enough to appreciate your journey. I’m convinced we are here to enjoy the journey most. Eventually, most of us, humble ourselves, surrendering to needing Divine guidance to master the labyrinths of life…and, suddenly things become much more manageable.

I’m keeping this short but sweet, I’m still on my time out and I will talk more on the many things I’ve learned, later…until then, relax guys. Life is better than good.

Thank Source for all of the Labyrinths of life..for all of the mazes and detours, (expected and unexpected) that all must take to come back home to ourselves. And…If we’re honest, most of us would admit, it was being confused, lost and alone in those Labyrinths, that actually freed us, because it’s there, we found, Us. Updated 2/4/23

Keep shining.
