Woman

“TRIDDY KAT”.com and “TRIDDY KAT’S MEOW”.com ...it’s where “Official Tissue” is all that matters. Watching the “Soul Train Awards” this week with host, “Tichina and Tisha” was excellent. I loved the whole concept. Black is beautiful and what we naturally come with ladies is enough…Now, I don’t knock those with weaves and body enhancements but I, personally, am not doing all of that. As Mary J. Blige sang, “Take me as I am”…I’m so tired of black women feeling like they aren’t enough, just the way they naturally are. Fat, skinny and in-between, ladies…we are to love ourselves. Stop giving your power away. Healing and Self Love, the keys to life. Woman.

Wake up daily and say, “I loves me some, ME.” Sure you need to do, what you want to feel beautiful, just don’t ever think what you naturally come with, isn’t enough. It’s more than enough, ladies. We don’t have to be perfect that’s what makes you unique. Read the article, “Perfect” click link here, Perfect? What Jasmine Sullivan said, touched my soul when she spoke of staying home for putting on a few pounds. That’s what a lot of women experience, she’s just authentic enough to share it with the viewers, right then and there, at an awards show. Hell, you don’t have to be a celebrity to Not WANT TO GO ANYWHERE, especially when we go up and down. What touched me most, was when she said, “But I came out anyway.” Hot damn, Go girl, that’s truly walking in your power!! Bump, if I don’t feel up to par cause I’m dealing with other sh*t, I’m still here…now, that’s a real sister. A Woman. These are the issues, real women, deal with and almost all women know it to be true. Kudos to realness, Jasmine, we salute you…I’ve been there…We’ve all been there. Thank you for sharing that vulnerable moment with us, we all felt you in that moment (the female viewers understood it and we got it)…And, we so appreciate seeing and knowing that other women are just like us. Heck, every time I got in or out of a relationship, I put on comfy or stress weight, etc.. I call it, “Life of a Diva.” Smile. That was my way of life until I learned to go deeper, to find and address the root, of it all. Now, I do my Soul work, never allowing the expectations of others, to be placed on me. So, I felt her vulnerability and in that moment, my soul respectfully said, “You’ve got it girl, you’re to do YOU, anyway, Jasmine.” That’s a woman, standing in her truth. The true Power of a Woman. Black women are judged so much harsher than all other women…plus, we literally hold the weight of the world, on our shoulders. It’s truly sad. Read the article, “Punished” click link here, https://triddykatsmeow.com/punished And, to top it off, we’re usually ridiculed severely by one another, if we buckle, under all that pressure. As if, being Super woman, is cute. No, the hell it ain’t. That’s slang guys. Please, if you know like I know, she (super woman) better take care of her self and use every last one of her vacation days. Smile. I left Super woman, on the side of the road years ago and I’m never going back to get her. She was inspiring me to kill myself, with all that damn people pleasing. Please. It was so draining, inauthentic and unhealthy. Toxic. I was becoming bitter and burned out…from simply being, a woman. Because I was soooo Misguided, being a woman. Then, I went searching and found myself. Read the article, “Katrina” click link here, KATRINA

My soul needed me but I had tapped out, doing for everyone else, first. Thinking that was self love. I was ignorant. I lacked balance and insight. That creates a barrier. Read the article, “Barrier” click link here, Barrier I had foolishly, allowed others to deplete me. Deeming it noble. Please. I’ve since, left that mess in the wind and never looked back. I am healthy-selfish now. That’s healthy narcissism looking out for me first. Not by destroying and crushing others but by simply making it a priority, to take care of me. I love me too much to put others before me and my needs, anymore. I’m a woman before, I’m a Mom. I’m a woman before, I’m a Wife. I’m a woman before, I’m a Career Woman. I’ve learned this the hard way. Hopefully, this will help other women avoid my mistakes. Take care of the woman in you, ladies. It matters more than you think. It always starts with Self Love. That’s important for all women to know, in our everyday lives on just being, a Woman.

Because “SELF LOVE” requires you, to actually give and show love to yourself, first, ladies. You must give that LOVE to “You.” I love being a woman, even more now, proudly chanting…“I am WOMAN damn it, hear me roar!!”

Keep shining.
